Born and raised in Andalusia, Spain this is where Daniel Cerdán began to develop an interest in design with a particular focus on couture.

At the age of 21 Daniel moved to Madrid to study fashion design inspired by the forms and textures of modernist architecture and referencing  the work of architect Oscar Niemeyer.

He worked under the tutelage of the couturier Elio Berhanyer gaining significant insight into the practice of couture.

During this time Daniel was invited to exhibit his pieces in the Fashion Museum of Madrid and following graduation made the move to London to build his career in the heart of the British fashion industry. Even then he kept strong ties with Madrid collaborating with the Fashion Museum again for the exhibition 'Architecture + Fashion'.

Daniel launched his self titled label Daniel Cerdán in London with his AW'14 collection.

Focused on strong silhouettes and interesting textures, Daniel's   Spanish origins are evident in the details and design. Each collection is made and finished in London with delicate embellishment applied by hand.
